Choosing a Site Look

Preview and choose the visual look used across your church's site and admin tools.

Choose the colors and surface style used across your public site and admin tools. You need Edit website content access and must open the home page in the website editor first.

Note

Your site look is separate from the home-page layout and your church's brand colors. Changing it does not replace your content, photos, layout, or brand color.

Choose a look

1

Open the look list

Select Site design, then Look. You can choose Classic, Stillwater, or Sanctuary.
Preview Classic, Stillwater, or Sanctuary while the home page remains visible.
2

Preview the choices

Select each look and check the home page before deciding:
  • Classic uses cream paper, brass accents, hard borders, and raised shadows.
  • Stillwater uses a cool gray background with clean white cards.
  • Sanctuary uses warm charcoal surfaces with light parchment-colored text.
3

Save or publish

Select Save draft to keep the choice private, or select Publish and confirm to make it live.

Check the result

After saving, the toolbar reads Saved. After publishing, select Done and check a public page and an admin page. Cards, buttons, and page surfaces should use the selected look while your content and brand color remain the same.

If Look is locked

Some layouts require one look: Broadsheet uses Classic and Almanac uses Stillwater. The menu explains which layout locked the choice. To use a different look, first choose another layout under Site design > Layout.
