Registration Settings

Control who can register, how many spots there are, the deadline, age or grade limits, volunteer applications, and friend preferences from Setup › Registration.

The Registration page holds every rule about who can sign up and how. Open it from the Setup section of the event's admin . When you create an event you are only asked whether to take registrations, how many spots, and the deadline; everything else here has a sensible default you can change later.

Note

Pricing, online payments, and deposits live under Money Pricing. Custom questions and waivers have their own pages in Setup. Facebook auto-posting and the home-page highlight are under Promotion.

RSVP Controls

1

Enable or disable RSVP

Toggle Enable RSVP to control whether families can register for your event. When disabled, the registration form is hidden from the public event page.
2

Set a registration limit

Enter an RSVP Limit to cap the number of registrations. Once the limit is reached, new families are placed on a waitlist. Leave this blank for unlimited registrations.
3

Set a registration deadline

Choose an RSVP Deadline date after which registration closes automatically. Families who visit the event page after this date will see that registration has ended.

Additional RSVP toggles:

  • Show Public Registration List — Lets visitors see who has already registered
  • Require Email Verification — Families must verify their email before their registration is confirmed
  • Require Family Account — Requires families to create an account rather than registering as a guest
  • Allow Late Registration — Lets families register after the deadline has passed

Tip

Enabling late registration is useful for walk-ins during VBS week. Families can still register even after the official deadline.

Age and Grade Restrictions

1

Choose the restriction mode

Select either Age or Grade mode. Age mode restricts by the child's age in years. Grade mode restricts by the grade level the child has completed.
2

Set the range

In Age mode, set the minimum and maximum age in years. In Grade mode, select the minimum and maximum grade levels from the dropdowns.

Note

Children outside the selected range are shown as ineligible during registration — parents can still see them but cannot select them for this event.

Volunteers, Friends, and Self Check-In

Below the eligibility settings you will find:

  • Volunteer Applications — whether anyone, only members, or nobody can apply to volunteer, and whether volunteers may request childcare.
  • Friend Preferences — lets parents ask for their child to be grouped with friends.
  • Parent Self Check-In — lets parents check their own children in from the kiosk or their phone.

Saving Changes

1

Save your settings

Click Save Changes at the top of the page to apply your settings. Changes take effect immediately.

Warning

If you reduce the RSVP limit below the current number of registrations, no one is removed — but new registrations will be blocked until the count drops below the limit.
